A 2-Hour Deep Dive into Understanding Behaviour, Autistic Brain Differences, and Learning What Makes Your Child Feel Safe
Make sense of meltdowns, shutdowns, and resistance — and feel more confident in what to do next.
What we'll cover in this session:
This 2-hour session will help you make sense of your child’s behaviour through a clear, compassionate lens,
starting with your own stress and moving into how your child’s brain works differently.
You won’t just learn what to do — you’ll understand why it works, and how to tailor it to your child’s unique brain.
Who is this webinar for?
For parents or carers — whether you're just starting out or have years of experience, this session will help you understand your child’s behaviour in a new light and feel more confident in how you respond.
For teachers & educators — gain practical insight into how Autistic students think and process the world, so you can reduce classroom stress, support regulation, and create a more inclusive learning environment.
For allied health & other professionals — explore the ‘why’ behind behaviours and improve how you collaborate with families through a neuro-affirming lens.
For support workers — learn practical, compassionate ways to recognise and respond to stress behaviours in Autistic children, and support their safety and wellbeing in everyday settings.

Meet Your Webinar Host: Jackie Hall
Hi, I’m Jackie — a professional counsellor, trauma specialist, and founder of the Parental Stress Centre. Over the past 17 years, I’ve supported thousands of parents through complex emotional challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and burnout — and for the past four years, I’ve specialised in working with families raising Autistic children.
More than 7,500 families have participated in our autism programs, and over 35,000 people have attended our live webinars — each bringing their own story, their own questions, and their own version of what it means to raise or support a neurodivergent child.
That kind of reach has given me a rare, wide-angle lens. While most professionals work with a handful of families at a time, I’ve had the privilege of listening deeply to thousands — noticing the patterns in behaviour, what consistently helps, and what often doesn’t.
This webinar brings together everything I’ve learned: clear, neuro-affirming insight, practical tools that reduce stress (not add to it), and a gentle shift in perspective that helps make behaviour finally make sense.
I also hold a Certificate III in Education (specialising in Autism), which has given me practical, classroom-informed insight into how neurodivergent students learn, communicate, and regulate differently. Combined with my extensive trauma training — spanning depression, anxiety, addiction, and eating disorders — I bring a whole-child, whole-family perspective that helps bridge the gap between emotional wellbeing and meaningful support strategies.
Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or professional, this session will help you understand the why behind behaviour — and support children in a way that feels safer, calmer, and more effective for everyone.
